Integrated Noise Barrier/Retaining Wall

Grade differences between the two sides of noise barriers are often encountered.  This may particularry occur with road widenings.  In most cases it is desirable to locate both the retaining wall and the noise barrier as close as possible to the property line.

Durisol's integrated noise barrier/retaining wall system allows stacking of noise barrier and retaining wall panels on a single set of footings; this minimizes the amount of land consumed for these two functions.

Noise barrier and retaining wall finishes can be harmonized for aesthetic purposes and retaining wall panels can also be finished with Durisol noise absorptive material.

The integrated noise barrier/retaining wall system is available with either of Durisol's retaining wall systems; Durisol Anchored Retaining Wall System (DARWS) and Narrow Footprint Retaining Wall System (NFRWS).

The Durisol Integrated NFRWS noise barrier system requires no anchors and therefore is an ideal solution where space is at a premium.
